This Tempranillo-based blend from Navarra is from the Chivite family. Aromas of asphalt, herbal berry and graphite come across burnt and stalky. This is tannic and hard on the palate, with baked, herbal, black-fruit flavors that come with toast and spice notes. Things remain that way onto the finish, which is herbal, spicy, baked, toasty and tannic.
