Arínzano 2014 Gran Vino Tempranillo (Pago de Arínzano)

Blackberry and prune aromas are backed by cheesy oak and vanilla notes as well as hints of tobacco and cedar. A deep palate is concentrated and showing proper balance, while this Pago-specific Navarran Tempranillo tastes of blackberry, wood spice and bacon. A jammy finish is thick and somewhat creamy in texture. Drink through 2026. Michael Schachner
