Armagnac VSOP Aged 10 years Castarède

Given some time to aerate for full aromatic effect, the end result is a maple- and vanilla-scented nose, with a butterscotch-banana flavor and abundant baking spice notes that are heaped on the long finish. Brisk in alcohol but balanced, this feels like a great foundation, but would benefit from more aging time. Kara Newman
