Armand Hurst 2018 Brand Grand Cru Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Editors' Choice

A pure, almost piercing note of ripe orange zest sets an immensely fresh and juicy accent on this wine's nose. Floral notions of jasmine surround it and merge slowly into ripe, yellow pear. The palate presents a creamy, juicy and rounded picture of pear, still with that orange and blossom highlight that makes it stand out aromatically. The body is creamy and smooth, rich but precise. Drink by 2045. Anne Krebiehl MW
