Armand Hurst 2018 Vendanges Tardives Brand Crand Cru Gewurztraminer (Alsace)

The headiness of candied mandarin and tangerine peel abounds on this wine's nose while crushed mint add an ethereal note. The palate comes in with immense concentration and sweetness. This is countered by a lovely candied-citrus-peel bitterness that heightens the experience. Creaminess, gentle spice and blossom honey trail in its wake. It's intense and very sweet.
