Armazem Vieira Onix Aged Artesian Cachaça Solera 16-Year-Old

The aroma is subdued, peppery and eggy. Tastes totally different from how it smells; the palate entry is intensely spirity, even heady in its alcohol rush; in the midpalate stage heightened tastes of prickly pear, white pepper, and refined sugar make entrances. Finishes meekly and only mildly sweet. Too uneven for its own good. P.P.
