Arnaud Baillot 2018 Vieilles Vignes (Gevrey-Chambertin)

The nose of this wine opens with a lick of chocolatey richness that has a slight lift and surrounds red cherry. The red cherry attains juicy roundness on the concentrated palate where freshness counters the ripeness. It has density, drive, liveliness and wonderful balance. Anne Krebiehl MW
