86pointsArrumaco 2017 Garnacha Rosé (Spain)

Best Buy

Common aromas of grape skins, cantaloupe and papaya are mostly clean and legit. The palate, while showing some acidic tang, is a bit grabby and short on substance, while this Garnacha Rosado tastes of nectarine but little more. A soft finish that turns bready indicates a wine in decline, so drink immediately. Michael Schachner
