Artesa 2003 Tempranillo (Alexander Valley)

Midway between Cabernet and Zinfandel in flavor, this dry, soft, spicy-peppery wine has blackberry and pomegranate flavors and firm tannins. It should improve for a few years, then begin a long, slow decline.
