Chiseled stone, crushed strawberry, dark carnation and pleasantly toasty oak aromas show on the nose of this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, which comes from vines planted at 2,100 feet in 1972. Dried cranberry and roasted meat flavors arise on the detailed and complex palate. Matt Kettmann
