AsomBroso Anejo 100% Agave Tequila

At first, I am puzzled, if thrilled, by the semisweet, delicate, honey-like opening sniffs; the honey component expands to include vanilla, buttercream and light toffee. Palate entry doesn't mirror the bouquet as the initial taste goes surprisingly dry to off-dry and oily; by midpalate, sweeter tastes of malt, light toffee, oaky vanillin, palm oil and milk chocolate are featured. Finishes smoothly, with a honeyed sweetness. P.P.
