Attic Salt 2017 Siteseer Red (Santa Ynez Valley)

A new project by winemaker Rob DaFoe and chef Jason Tuley, this blend of 60% Grenache, 28% Syrah, 8% Grenache Blanc and 4% Viognier starts with crisp red-cherry and baking-spice aromas. The palate is tightly wound, with salt and pepper spices uplifting the cranberry and raspberry-fruit flavors, proving to be a lighter style of red, yet with depth. Matt Kettmann
