The nose is toasty and smooth, with lots of spiced fruit showing. In the mouth, things turn a touch heavy; the fruit is mature and full, but it's heavier than ideal. A finish of black pepper, exotic nuances and ripe flavors keep it firmly positive; some mushiness is the lone drawback.
