There are a number of lovely Cab Francs coming from the Finger Lakes, but the smell of ripe red cherries accented with rich mocha, vanilla and smoke make Atwater's especially enticing. Lusciously fruity on the palate with intense blackberry and raspberry flavors, it's balanced with rustic notes of bramble, herbs, earth and violets. Soft tannins and smoke carry through to a long finish.
