Atwater 2017 Skin Ferment White (Finger Lakes)

Billowing aromas of ripe peach, jasmine, oolong tea and honeycomb carry the nose of this blend of Gewürztraminer and Vignoles that spent 14 days on the skins. The palate is dry, with a gentle smokiness surrounding flavors of peach and white flowers. Juicy acidity and a thin blanket of tannins frame it all, making this an interesting orange wine expression.
