Au Bon Climat 2009 Los Alamos Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara County)

This is a delicious Pinot, but it has a density that makes it ponderous. The official alcohol is only 13.5% by volume, but it's a little soft, which gives the cherry pie and cola flavors a heaviness that seems unlikely to age away. So decant it for an hour or two and drink now.
