Au Pied du Mont Chauve 2017 Clos des Fiètres Grand Cru (Corton)

Roasted earth and smoke surround subtle cherry on the nose of this wine. That roasted notion, with a slight edge of bitterness, wraps itself around soft, ripe but fresh dark cherry on the firm palate, creating an impression of smokiness. Tannins brush gently and provide a fitting frame. Anne Krebiehl MW
