Aubaine 2019 Anahata Vineyard Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity Hills)

This fresh and fragrant wine is one of three in the debut vintage of Aubaine. The expressive bouquet brings lavender, baking spices, raspberry and a touch of rosemary. The wine gathers itself in a compact midpalate with tangy flavors of mixed berries. Such forward fruit is not uncommon in a new vineyard (this was planted in 2015), but rarely is it so nicely textured. Paul Gregutt
