August Ridge 2009 Estate Sangiovese (Paso Robles)

The Italian-focused producer from the Creston area produces a wine with aromas of graphite, black cherries and eucalyptus. Just enough tannins leave a slight and pleasant film on the palate, with flavors of chocolate, dried cranberries and a little pomegranate juice. Matt Kettmann
