Averna Sambuca

The nosing passes find aromas of black licorice and aniseed with an alluring oily scent appearing after aeration time. Palate entry is pleasingly licorice-like at first, then it turns a touch metallic; midpalate recovers the licorice focus and is pleasantly waxy. Finish is rich, intense, and creamy. P.P.
