Ayoub 2016 Memoirs Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This is a most satisfying entry-level wine for the outstanding Ayoub portfolio, featuring (in this current vintage) a photo of nine-year-old Mo Ayoub on the front label. Smoke and chocolate, cherry and toast; it's all nicely woven together in perfect proportion. Drink this while your other 2016s are gaining further bottle age. Paul Gregutt
