Bacalhôa Wines of Portugal 2010 Quinta da Bacalhôa Red (Península de Setúbal)

Cellar Selection

This beautiful 15th century quinta was originally planted with Bordeaux grapes in the 1970s. It gives an original interpretation of Bordeaux; it's rich and juicy, retaining black currant fruit alongside dry tannins and a solid structure. It's a fine wine that deserves aging—give it 5–6 years or more. Roger Voss
