Stylistically, this blend is much like a Bordeaux. At first, bright cherry and raspberry fruit ride atop a racy, dry palate. With deeper inspection comes the integration of earthy aromatics with oak, plum and kirsch notes. A little more richness wouldn't hurt. —M.S.
