Backsberg 2002 Babylons Toren Red (Paarl)

At once overtly woody, yet lithe and elegant. Black fruits, tobacco and even shoe polish hints show on the nose. Toast and espresso flavors abound--the tart, dark side of the force rules here. Many will love it just as it is, and it's an undeniably handsome acute oakster. But only time will tell if the fruit evers comes out from behind the veil.
