Barden 2017 Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

This wine is still quite young, which makes it very energetic if not yet fully evolved. Aromas of crushed hibiscus, elderberry and smoked meat lead into a palate of plum, berry, game and dried sage. It's both rich and zesty at once. Matt Kettmann
