Barnard Griffin 2000 Reserve Chardonnay (Columbia Valley (WA))

Here is a well-priced Chardonnay that delivers a bit extra. Plump, soft fruit with a hint of honey and plenty of butterscotch. There's even a hint of licorice. All in all, a well-rounded, forward, fruity effort with front-loaded flavors. Paul Gregutt
