Baron du Lustrac 1972 Domaine de Lacaze Cepage Bacco, Bas Armagnac

The initial aroma shows round, biscuity and mature praline-like notes that are simultaneously nutty and sweet; aeration allows the bouquet to focus on the bittersweet candied almond core aroma. Palate entry is firm, bittersweet and nicely viscous; midpalate the candied almond dominates to the point of exclusion. Concludes bittersweet and nutty. P.P.
