Baron Knyphausen 2010 Trocken Riesling (Rheingau)

Crop yields were down substantially in 2010, so perhaps that is why so many of the top estates' entry-level wines are so exciting. This one combines hints of wet stones and moss with multifaceted citrus nuances and struck flint, resulting in remarkable complexity. It's round and mouthfilling yet focused and long. Joe Czerwinski
