A strength of the winery, this single (Rosebud) vineyard effort includes 9% Sémillon. Fermentation was done in a creative mix of oak, steel and concrete egg, and enhanced with eight months in two-thirds new oak. Tart citrus—mostly lime and grapefruit—along with snappy green apple and a hint of fresh herb, keep the palate lively and complex. A hint of barrel toast elevates the lingering finish.
