This dark, muscular, toasty Cabernet is infused with rich coffee/mocha flavors right up front. Cassis and black cherry provide the counterpoint, and the wine sits comfortably in the mouth, without excessive heat or weight, despite its 14.9% alcohol. The finish falls away quickly, but this is definitely a wine hankering for a thick steak.
