Basil Hayden's 8-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

The initial sniffings detect dull, limp scents of wet cardboard and parchment; with only meek, ripe and sweet grain and timid yellow fruit aromas added after aeration. The palate entry is moderately spicy and nicely grainy, but then at midpalate the taste becomes seed-like and mildly grainy. Drinkable but average. P.P.
