A bit dark in color for the variety, this wine brings fruit-forward aromas of cherry, forest floor and assorted spices. The fruit flavors are ripe and bold yet show a delicious sense of purity. There's no mistaking the warmth of the vintage with its 13.8% alcohol, but there's still a lot enjoy here.
