Beaulieu Vineyard 2002 Reserve Dulcet Red (Napa Valley)

With three-quarters Cabernet Sauvignon and the balance Syrah, this Cali-Rhône blend sure is a good wine. It's very dry, with rich, dusty tannins, and while there's good cherry and blackberry fruit, there's also a balance of herbs and sweet leather for complexity.
