Like many of Bedell's whites, there's a dense outer layer of smoky flint and match notes upon uncorking that obscure this wine's prettier fruit and mineral tones. With substantial aeration, this blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling shows its brisk lemony demeanor. Dry in style with a zippy light-footed feel, it makes a lovely aperitif or accompaniment to delicate fish courses.
