Smoky aromas, underbrush, dark berry, clove and a whiff of leather slowly emerge on this structured red. The palate displays power and finesse, delivering juicy wild cherry, white pepper, tobacco, licorice and mineral alongside assertive but refined tannins and fresh acidity. It already has depth but hold for more complexity. Drink 2019–2029.
