Belle Glos 2004 Las Alturas Vineyard Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands)

In true Lucia fashion, this is a dark, big, rich, ripe young Pinot, bursting with fruit, and while it's not exactly elegant, it certainly is powerful. Gobs of cherry, pomegranate, chocolate and coffee flavors flood the palate, leading to a dry finish. Don't drink it now unless you're immune to the acidity and tannins of immature wines. Best 2008-2010.
