Ben Haines 2017 Pinot Noir (Yarra Valley)

This light-bodied, tangy Pinot flies the Yarra Valley flag high. Bright red cherry, raspberry and blueberry fruit mingles with rose petal, cinnamon and more herbal undertones. On the palate, the satiny-textured fruit has some weight to it but is held in check by zippy acidity and a soft thread of tannins. A long, tangy finish has you reaching quickly for another sip.
