Benanti 2013 Rosso (Etna)

Alluring aromas of Mediterranean herb, leather, berry, tangerine zest and menthol come together in the glass. The palate is youthfully austere, offering tart red cherry, strawberry, star anise and graphite alongside firm, fine-grained tannins that grip the finish. Give this a few years to let the tannins unwind then drink. Kerin O’Keefe
