Wines can be big and loaded with everything, yet still be hard to enjoy. This is a case in point: It weighs in at 15% and brings searing aromas of tree bark, char and shoe polish. The palate is a saturated fusing of berry syrup, chocolate and alcohol. Almost Port-like in weight and style, but also very aggressive. Michael Schachner
