Beni di Batasiolo 2002 Arsigà (Dolcetto d'Alba)

Meaty and dense, but like many of the '02s, it's not what you'd call rich. Plenty of plum, cherry, chocolate and espresso run through the wine, while the finish is clean and features perfectly ripe flavors. Round, tasty and firm, like a Dolcetto should be. Michael Schachner
