Benom 2018 Muze Red (Paso Robles)

Dark black-currant and baking-spice aromas float atop a subtle sense of rugged charred meat and tar on the compelling nose of this blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Mourvèdre and 4% Syrah. Tar and charcoal flavors show on the sip alongside dark-purple fruits and flowers, with a touch of dried herbs. Still young, but it will age gracefully. Matt Kettmann
