Benton-Lane 2016 First Class Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

A rich, reserve-level wine, it remains proportionate despite its rather high alcohol content. Fleshy berry and ripe cherry fruit comes with a wash of chocolate. There's a hint of burn as it tails off in the finish. Paul Gregutt
