Benziger 1999 McNab Ranch Petite Sirah (Mendocino County)

A big disappointment. There's some good, ripe fruit, but the tannins are dry and rasping, and the flavors turn thin on the slightly hot finish. Seems more like a decent vin ordinaire than a serious red table wine.
