Bera 2013 Rabajà Riserva (Barbaresco)

Pressed rose, botanical herb, new leather and a whiff of truffle form the nose. On the firm full-bodied palate, tight close-grained tannins accompany cranberry, blood orange and star anise while bright acidity keeps it balanced. It's quite austere and needs time to fully come around. Drink after 2023. Kerin O’Keefe
