Berger 2018 Ried Wieland Reserve Grüner Veltliner (Kremstal)

Wet moss, crushed boxwood leaf and Russet pear peel unite on the nose. The palate comes in with concentration and adds juicy, ripe, rounded pear fruit to the essential, herbal saltiness at the core of this wine. The combination of savoriness with such intense fruit is gorgeous. Anne Krebiehl MW
