Bergström 2018 Temperance Hill Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity Hills)

Overall Bergström's 2018s are a touch less ripe than the 2017s, putting a bit more emphasis on tart fruit flavors. Here it's pomegranate and boysenberry, along with citrus acids and skin flavors. The wine penetrates deeply and lingers gracefully, with the same drying minerality that occurs across the entire portfolio. Paul Gregutt
