Bergström 2018 Winery Block Pinot Noir (Chehalem Mountains)

Cellar Selection

Among the new releases from Bergström this fits squarely in the mainstream of the expansive portfolio. It's replete with scents and flavors of wild berries and red plums, a suggestion of chamomile blossoms, and drying tannins that taste of herbal tea. There is little or no hint of new oak; the extended finish brings drying textures of chalk and clay. Drink 2024–2030. Paul Gregutt
