Bernhard Ott 2016 Ried Stein Grüner Veltliner (Kamptal)

Cellar Selection

A touch of flint and fresh, white field mushroom on the nose signal both promising reduction and evolution. In the background there is a notion of hayflower and an incipient, salty pepperiness. The palate is tight and bright, holding even more savory herb and pepper notions at its core. The smooth mouthfeel rounds everything out. Drink by 2035. Anne Krebiehl MW
