This huge but well-balanced wine (labeled with the French name for Petite Sirah) shows plenty of muscle in its full tannins, full body and ultraripe flavors, but stays appetizing to sip. Good underlying acidity and firm but not drying tannins keep it lively and bode well for further aging. Best 2025–2032. Jim Gordon
