To celebrate its 1843 origins, Besserat de Bellefon has released this limited-edition wood-fermented wine. It is a classic yet exceptional blend of Chardonnay/Pinot Noir/Pinot Meunier from eight cru vineyards. The taste is ripe and rich, with the wood treatment reducing the acidity while filling out the fruit. A complex wine, it will repay further bottle aging.
